‘re-animate the decemberists’ contest submission
 
[objective]
create an animation to serve as the background for a music video the decemberists shot against a green screen.  
 
[process]
my submission consisted of video i shot while driving through cincinnati.  i kept in mind that the animation was to be a background and should be somewhat abstract, so i reduced it to black and white, inverted the color, then reintroduced color for contrast against the musicians.
 
the final result is my background video playing under the alpha channel reference video supplied by the contest website.
