municipal building with three components - police station, township administration, and community space.  each component was a combination of several types of rooms - offices, meeting spaces, security, support, and service.

 

the exterior program also called for roads, pedestrian pathways, parking, and bicycle storage.

 

[process]

the first project of my third year was an introduction to landscape architecture and sustainability.  our assignment was to design a building that adhered to LEED guidelines.  incorporating several sustainable aspects within both the building and surrounding landscape, i created a project that would have been LEED certified if built.
